The location is great, as the hotel is based in a very sketchy area.

Wow! My room was amazing, complete with a kitchenette and a little sitting area. Free WiFi was a definite plus. Included breakfast was awesome. The building is beautiful and very thoughtfully decorated. The owner told us its 115-year old story at breakfast one morning.
The area is a little more colorful than some travelers might be used to. I walked the 1.5 miles to the convention center pretty easily; it's a straight shot. I would suggest that a woman traveling alone after dark take a cab; from downtown, it won't cost you much.

I love the rooms! They are like small apartments and homie! Not like a hotel at all. I thought the old style furniture and wall paper was awesome! The owner is gorgeous, fun, sweet, cool, and a real hard working woman. My kinda people :) I loved staying here! I found this place for a few reasons; adventure of trying a bed and breakfast for the first time, cost and location! I will always stay with Crystal and her pup Clementine when I visit Denver! Maybe next time i'll even bring along my pup!
Only thing that was kinda not good... Um there was a used towel in the bathroom with toothpaste wipings on it :/ ewww lol just tossed onto the floor. It was really hot! I think its the old school broiler. Luckily a fan was near! The sheets were very clean but the heavy outer comforter was kinda old or dirty looking.

Upon arrival we were greeted by sweet Clementine and shown to our upgraded room. The staff was warm and friendly, and we were invited to an art show that was being put on that evening. The building was beautiful and the historical location was amazing, seconds from downtown and cherry creek. Our room was clean and private, we never had to bother the staff for anything because it was all made available.

Early check-in, parking on street. Interesting design of interiors in king suite. Fairly nice area, great and particularly good location, near to coffee shops, the Denver Botanic Gardens and a cafe down the street.
Not so clean bathroom.
